Lady Lyndis Diaries - Part 38

Was this part of Lucina's plan all along?! Cloudia is not actually called Cloudia! Her REAL name is Skyla! What?! Skyla revealed that she actually has no daughter and was using that false info as a cover by request of none other than Lucina. Skyla told me that her real objective was to test me and make sure that I can overcome my own fears. Micaiah didn't seem phased by the information Skyla gave us. Micaiah just "I knew it" as she folded her arms. Skyla noticed this and took a closer look at Micaiah. It turns out that Skyla knows Micaiah! Skyla and Micaiah talked to each other about what happened since their last meeting. Apparently, Skyla used to be one of the trainers that Lucina left Micaiah with on occasion to take care of her. Skyla decided to take a closer look at my team after catching up with Micaiah. Florina greeted Skyla who in turn recognized Florina! It turns out that Skyla was involved with preparing Florina to be a starter Pokémon! Wow! I didn't know that my team was connected to Lucina like this! I wonder what else Skyla knows...

After having a nice discussion with Skyla, I was urged to continue with my journey and head to Icirrus City. I thanked Skyla for her time and support before heading out. That's when something crazy happened. I suddenly felt a gust of wind and heard a thud! It turns out that the gust of wind was Isadora being thrown past my head by Micaiah. I decided to make sure Isadora was okay who only concerned herself with my safety. I was confused by this until I noticed G lying on the ground moaning in pain. Did G try to do something before Isadora flew into him? Micaiah quickly got between G and myself while watching him very carefully. Micaiah explained to me that Sain sensed G nearby waiting to ambush me and try to kidnap me! The jerk! G asked how my Pokémon were happy with me as he tried to force himself back to his feet. Micaiah quickly answered by saying "Lyn's not a jerk like you! She actually CARES for us!" I tried asking G why he decided to show up when he suddenly lunged at me! I quickly managed to avoid his attempt to grab me and gave him a good punch in his stomach! G just fell down to the floor again. This time, he didn't attempt to get up. Suddenly, the Shadow Triad showed up and took G away immediately. They were in quite the hurry... Skyla showed up just as they left and commented about how fast the Shadow Triad was. I guess she WOULD know a thing or two about the Shadow Triad since she's apparently part of Lucina's recon team. It turns out that Skyla forgot to give me a TM and decided to catch up with me.

The TM wasn't Skyla's only reason for finding me. Apparently, Skyla forgot to inform me about G and Team Plasma. According to Skyla, G is trying gain power without Lucina interfering with his plans. Ah! So THAT'S who G was running from! He's been sneaking around the way he has because he's trying to avoid Lucina and her recon teams! I decided to ask why any of Lucina's plans or G's plans would involve me. Unfortunately, Skyla didn't have an answer. She only told me "Ask The Princess or Iris. They know the answer". Great...! That's MORE things to ask Lucina. It looks like Iris outranks Skyla based upon her answer, too. Maybe I should have asked Iris more about all this... Skyla wasn't shy about telling me to get my last 2 badges, either. I guess I better get going.

You know... There's a lot going on that seems to be shrouded in mystery. What ARE G's true intentions? Every time we meet, he keeps changing his story. He's obviously hiding something... How much influence does G and Lucina have over Unova? They both seem to have a lot of power... Lucina seems to have influence in the Pokémon League since Skyla is a gym leader. Who else works for her? G's influence involves Team Plasma... Does he have any other ties that I need to know about? Just who IS Lucina?! Her power and influence are obviously very high, but how is she this important? If Micaiah and Florina both have a past involving Lucina, I should ask them about it. It might shed some light on this shadow of an enigma... I think I see Roy up ahead. It looks like he's planning something, too. Great... Whatever it is, it's going to ruin my train of thought.
